Enough is Enough
Through collective action we will transform the social, economic, and political landscape of our country to achieve justice with and for her/them*.
We believe passionately that individuals, organizations, and movements weaving together gender, race, and ethnic justice imperatives are defying divisions that are outgrowths of white supremacy and the patriarchy. United in collective action, led and informed by those most impacted, we are addressing the modern day reality of cis and trans girls, young women, and gender-expansive young people who continue to be excluded, invisible, and pushed to the bottom.
Our National Organizing focus area bolsters partnership and shared advocacy across a variety of stakeholders, including youth leaders and advocates; direct service providers; organizers; activists; systems stakeholders; community-based organization participants, staff, and leadership; and others. These partnerships exist in and across local, state, national, and tribal communities critically addressing and overcoming siloes, thus connecting across the U.S.
We convene, facilitate, and make connections that support the leadership of cis and trans girls and gender-expansive young people and strengthen organizations, alliances, and movements working to re-envision or abolish systems, demolish silos, and to disrupt and transform biased social constructs, norms, and practices.
Support, Strengthen, Expand
Our core practices ground the work across all of our national organizing efforts. This includes following her/their* leadership; working in collaboration with a wide array of cross cutting partners; and ensuring the engagement of young people, families, local and state advocates, decision makers, and service providers, young people, and families in local, state, and national efforts to demand change. Our goal is to support the continued growth of strong, well resourced, intersectional, intergenerational organizations and movements – to that end we will:
- Her/their* leadership
- New and existing alliances, coalitions and networks to increase our collective power
- Collaborative intergenerational networks that provide community and opportunities for mutual learning and advocacy
- Relationships and tools used to advance our shared goals
- The national network of individuals engaged in advocacy
- Opportunities to gather, strategize and heal in community together
Stay tuned for information about future efforts including:
